An award-winning team

Parent company, Harvest Films Ltd, is a small but internationally regarded production company established in 1998. Its early output consisted of short films and animated commercials for clients including Nestle, Cadbury's, Proctor & Gamble and the US Postal Service. In 2001, it produced the £1.6m stop-frame animated special Hamilton Mattress which premiered on BBC ONE on Christmas Day.

It has since sold to 25 territories and garnered 18 international awards including the Grand Prix at the Annecy International Animation Festival and a Banff Rockie for Best Animation Programme. Harvest Films also produced the live action film Lido for HTV/UK Film Council set in Clifton's then derelict swimming baths.

In 2003, Harvest set up The Joy of 8mm, an event-based production and training initiative promoting professional development and new talent relationships. Supported by Kodak, Rushes & Watershed, it has enabled the production of 210 short films including many award winners.
